Apologies for the big delays for our first event, issues with Venues and my computer having a meltdown keep on causing setbacks, (Disneyland didn't work on it's first day) so as soon as I can get that sorted which should be in the next week or so I will finaly get the first event underway


Down South LAN wont be held on March 13th as there are far to many public events on that date and numbers would be too low. Down South LAN will be held at a later date, either later this month or early next.

Welcome to the website for Down South LAN. For now this is our home, it's a bit drafty and could do with a lick of paint but we'll get there.

For those wondering who I am and what this is, my name is Jason, also known as Sgt Moo (or just Moo for short). I have created this website for a new community LAN event for people with a passion for gaming to come together and compete against each other, meet new people or just have some fun.

Here I will post announcements about upcoming events with details on location, games and prices. As much as I would love to do this all for free, things like venue hire, internet, web hosting and prizes cost money. Events may vary in price depending on special circumstances but regular events should be $10. These events are entirely non-profit and all funds generated go into maintaining equipment, prizes and food for you guys.

Down South LAN is open to gamers of all ages but those 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult (we aren't a daycare center and some games are rated 15+).

Registrations aren't open just yet as we are just finalizing some of the last few details, we will have them open shortly.
